Job summary

Henry Schein Australia is seeking a Team Leader for our Perth distribution operations. You will ensure orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately while supporting a move to our new Maddington facility from January 2027.

You will lead a small team, work 5:00am to 3:00pm, utilise WMS systems, maintain safety standards, and help set up the new centre to enable smooth relocation and ongoing operational success.

Qualifications

• Team Leader experience in a warehouse environment with hands-on coordination.
• Certificate III in Warehousing and forklift licence preferred.
• Experience with WMS software and logistics technologies.
• Strong WH&S knowledge and safe work practices.
• Proactive, hands-on leader able to work with minimal supervision.
• Customer-focused, detailed oriented, and independent.

About the Opportunity

As Team Leader you will ensure every customer order is picked, packed, and dispatched accurately, safely, and efficiently, delivering quality service on time. You will be reliable and flexible to work shifts between 5:00am and 3:00pm, and will bring a strong team-focused work ethic. Computer skills are essential for using warehouse management systems (WMS), email, and spreadsheets, along with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment through strict adherence to safety procedures. It’s an exciting time to join as we prepare for our move to a brand new facility in Maddington, from January 2027. Conveniently located just off Tonkin Highway, this warehouse will be three times the size of our current site and fully temperature-controlled at 20°C year round providing a modern, comfortable, and efficient workplace. As Team Leader you will play a key role in supporting the smooth relocation and set‑up of the new distribution centre, helping to set the team up for success from day one.

Your Skills, Experience, and Attributes

Demonstrated Team Leader experience in a warehouse environment, with hands‑on responsibility for coordinating daily operations, guiding a small team, and supporting performance outcomes, alongside strong inventory control experience.

Certificate III in Warehousing and forklift licence (preferred).

Experience with WMS software, scanners, and other logistics technologies, supported by solid computer skills.

Sound understanding of WH&S requirements and commitment to safe work practices.

A proactive, hands‑on leader who leads by example and is comfortable working alongside the team while coordinating activities.

Highly motivated, accountable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision and strong attention to detail.

Customer-focused, ensuring all orders and enquiries are handled accurately and within established guidelines.

Ability to manage tasks requiring sustained concentration, attention to detail, and computer‑based work.

A collaborative team player who fosters a positive team environment, contributes to team success, and understands their role in achieving operational outcomes.
