Job summary

Tyremax in Wangaratta is seeking an experienced Distribution Centre Manager to lead our local warehouse operations, delivering safe, efficient and customer-focused performance. Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will drive end-to-end logistics, stock integrity, workforce planning and cost control while actively hands-on in daily operations.

• Experience in warehouse/logistics management.
• Strong people leadership with a calm, solutions-focused approach.
• WHS experience is essential.
• CoR qualification and relevant tertiary qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead WHS and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) compliance.
• Manage inbound/outbound logistics, stock accuracy and stocktakes.
• Drive productivity, workforce planning and cost-saving initiatives.
• Oversee dispatch, delivery performance and customer issue resolution.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, equipment and site compliance.
• Coach, engage and develop a high-performing warehouse team.

We are seeking an experienced Distribution Centre Manager to lead our Wangaratta operation and ensure efficient, safe and customer‑focused warehouse and logistics performance.

About the role

Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the end‑to‑end management of warehouse operations including safety, stock integrity, workforce planning, cost control and customer service. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you will be actively involved in daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all WHS and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) compliance
• Manage inbound/outbound logistics, stock accuracy and stocktakes
• Drive productivity, workforce planning and cost‑saving initiatives

About you

• Proven experience in warehouse/logistics management
• Strong people leadership with a calm, solutions‑focused approach
• Collaborative approach with a track record of building strong relationships across all functions
• Hands‑on and operationally minded
• Excellent organisation, communication and problem‑solving skills
• Forklift licence and Driver’s licence required
• WHS experience is essential
• CoR qualification and relevant tertiary qualification desirable
