Job summary

Moreton Hire is seeking an experienced Dispatch Manager to lead branch operations, oversee labour, transport logistics and warehouse coordination across our branch network. You will drive performance, ensure safety, and deliver exceptional service for major projects and events.

Reporting to the Stage General Manager, you will schedule people, equipment and vehicles to maximise efficiency and profitability while maintaining high standards of customer service across projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in dispatch, logistics, transport, warehouse or operations management.
• Strong labour planning and workforce management skills.
• Experience managing fleet operations and transport logistics.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily labour allocation, rostering and workforce productivity.
• Coordinate vehicle movements, deliveries, collections and transport schedules.
• Oversee branch fleet utilisation, maintenance and compliance.
• Ensure warehouse operations run efficiently and safely.
• Monitor labour, transport and operational costs.
• Lead and develop warehouse, transport and operational staff.
• Drive operational improvements and process efficiencies.
