Job summary

Moreton Hire in Australia is seeking experienced Dispatch Managers to lead our operational teams across our branch network, taking ownership of daily performance, labour planning, fleet and stock movement, and service delivery.

You will drive efficiency, safety, and cost control while collaborating with project managers, account managers and clients to deliver successful events and projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in dispatch, logistics, transport, warehouse or operations management.
• Strong labour planning and workforce management skills.
• Experience managing fleet operations and transport logistics.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Managing daily labour allocation, rostering and workforce productivity
• Coordinating vehicle movements, deliveries, collections and transport schedules
• Managing branch fleet utilisation, maintenance and compliance
• Overseeing equipment booking and stock allocation processes
• Ensuring warehouse operations run efficiently and safely
• Monitoring labour, transport and operational costs
• Working closely with project managers, account managers and clients to deliver successful projects
• Driving operational improvements and process efficiencies
• Managing branch operational KPIs and service standards
• Leading and developing warehouse, transport and operational staff
• Maintaining high standards of workplace health and safety
