Job summary

Soudal Australia in Glendenning, NSW is seeking an experienced Dispatch Officer to join our growing team. This full-time role ensures efficient and timely dispatch of goods to customers, maintaining accuracy and a customer-centric approach.

You will coordinate dispatch from the warehouse, liaise with customer service and warehouse teams, manage deliveries in SAP, and prepare shipment documentation including Loscam and manifests. SAP and Machship experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in dispatch/logistics, preferably in manufacturing/warehousing.
• Excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency with warehouse management and ERP systems including SAP.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the dispatch of goods from warehouse to customers ensuring on-time delivery.
• Liaise with customer service and warehouse teams to confirm order details and organise transportation.
• Manage daily workload in SAP by creating deliveries and picking orders.
• Prepare shipment documentation including Loscam pallet hiring, delivery and manifest documents.
• Ensure manifesting is completed daily for transportation.
• Register picking orders (scanning) and complete goods issues for finance in SAP.
• Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and addressing delivery issues via Freshdesk.
• Organise reverse logistics by booking returns and emailing documents.
• Maintain records and generate reports on dispatch activities.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Dispatch Officer to join our growing team at Soudal Australia in Glendenning, NSW. This full-time role will be responsible for the efficient and timely dispatch of goods to customers, ensuring all orders are fulfilled accurately and in a customer-centric manner.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the dispatch of goods from our warehouse to customers, ensuring all orders are processed and delivered on time (B2B)
• Liaise with the customer service and warehouse teams to confirm order details and organise transportation
• Manage daily workload in SAP by creating deliveries and picking orders
• Prepare all necessary documentation for outgoing shipments, including Loscam pallet hiring, delivery and manifest documents
• Ensure manifesting is completed daily in a timely manner for transportation
• Register completed picking orders (scanning) and complete goods issues for finance team in SAP
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to customer inquiries and addressing any delivery issues via Freshdesk tickets system
• Organise reverse logistics by booking returns and emailing documents for the customer
• Maintain accurate records and generate reports on dispatch activities

About you

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a dispatch or logistics role, preferably within the manufacturing, warehousing or distribution industries
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Proficient in the use of warehouse management and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
• SAP experience highly regarded
• Machship transport management software (booking, track and trace)
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive, solution-oriented approach
