Job summary

Choices And Rights is seeking caregivers to join our team in Clontarf, Queensland. You will support individuals living with disabilities to live independently and safely within the community, providing both day and overnight supports as needed.

Ideal candidates have relevant health and care experience, are registered (NDIS/Yellow Card), hold First Aid/CPR, and possess a valid driver's license with access to a roadworthy insured vehicle.

Qualifications

• Experience with mental health disorders.
• Disability and/or Aged Care Industry experience.
• Current Yellow Card or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
• Current National Police Check.
• Current Driver's License.
• Roadworthy, registered, and insured vehicle.
• Availability to work a range of shifts, including sleepovers.
• Located in or willing to travel to surrounding suburbs.
• Comfortable working around pets.
• Potential to progress to permanent positions.
• Employee Assistance Program (EAP).

Responsibilities

• Provide support and supervision for participants.
• Provide day and overnight supports.
• Occasionally provide cover for other members of the team.
• Work around pets in clients' homes.
