Job summary

Better Access Support Services in Toowoomba is hiring experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team, delivering 1:1 and group support across SIL and SDA housing, with a focus on daily living assistance, personal care and community access.

This role requires sleepover availability, a Certificate III in Disability or related field, valid driver's licence, vehicle and first aid/CPR, plus NDIS checks. We offer professional development and a supportive, diverse workplace.

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate III or higher in Disability or Individual Support, Aged Care or Nursing, or currently or willing to enroll.
• PEG, Quality of Life Feeds, and stoma care experience desirable.
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or Yellow Card required; Working with Children Blue Card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide domestic assistance, personal care and transport to participants.
• Support participants with daily living activities and wellbeing.
• Assist with 1:1 support and in SIL/SDA housing as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and high standard of accountability.
