Job summary

Brighter Futures QLD on the Gold Coast is seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to provide high quality, individualised support to participants living in their own homes and the community. You will assist with daily living skills, personal care and community connections, including sleepovers and weekend shifts as part of rosters.

Essential requirements include NDIS Worker Screening Check, a current QLD Driver’s Licence, First Aid & CPR, a National Police Check within 3 months and right

Qualifications

• Be available to work sleepover shifts and weekends.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Current QLD Drivers Licence.
• Current First Aid & CPR.
• National Police Check (issued within the last 3 months).
• Right to Work in Australia evidence.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with daily living skills.
• Support with domestic tasks including cooking, cleaning, laundry and shopping.
• Foster community connections and participation.
• Provide personal care to participants.
• Administer medications as directed.
