Job summary

Melba Support Services is seeking a Disability Support Worker for casual shifts in Moe, Victoria. You will provide personalised, client-led support to people living with disability across multiple service settings, including SIL, ISA, and community-based programs.

Your role emphasizes dignity, choice and independence, with a focus on helping clients achieve meaningful goals. The successful candidate will have a relevant qualification, current First Aid/CPR, and the ability to work flexible

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Disability or Diploma in Community Services preferred.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification, NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check are required.
• Valid Australian driver license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support people to build independence and life skills.
• Help people participate in community, recreational, educational, and employment activities.
• Provide practical day-to-day support including personal care as required.
• Support health and wellbeing, including medication assistance where authorised.
• Build positive relationships with people supported and their networks.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records and work with the team to deliver safe, high-quality support.
