Job summary

CPL is seeking casual and part-time Support Workers in Hervey Bay and surrounding suburbs to join our team. Whether you’ve done this before or you’re new and passionate about helping others — we’d love to hear from you.

No two days are the same— you’ll be supporting people to live independently and do the things that matter to them. Shifts include morning, afternoon, evening and weekend rosters with paid training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Customer service oriented and compassionate.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Current First Aid & CPR certificates (or willingness to obtain).
• Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check (assistance available).
• Driver's license and/or reliable transport.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals to live independently and engage in activities they enjoy.
• Assist with meals, cleaning and daily tasks.
• Support community participation and appointments.
• Provide medication support.
• Assist with mobility (including hoists where required).
• Work across various shift times to build a roster that fits availability.

What you will be doing

This could include:

• Helping with meals,cleaningand daily tasks
• Supporting someone to get out into the community
• Attending appointments or social activities
• Medication support
• Assistingwith mobility (including hoists whererequired)
