Job summary

Maxlife Care Pty is seeking experienced female Disability Support Workers to provide dedicated, person-centred care to clients with complex needs, including mental health. You will report to an Area Manager with ongoing training and support.

The role involves personal care, meal prep, medication administration, domestic tasks, community engagement, and care-plan implementation alongside the clinical team. This position is gender-restricted per NSW guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in the disability sector.
• Experience supporting clients with a range of disabilities, including challenging behaviours, mental health, schizophrenia, or complex wound care.
• Minimum Certificate III Disability or similar/higher.
• Good communication skills.
• Empathy for people with a disability.
• Strong belief in Person Centred Practices.
• Highly organised and proactive.
• NSW Driver’s Licence (or similar) plus own car is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, meal preparation and medication administration.
• Support domestic tasks and household routines.
• Help participant engage with their community.
• Collaborate with clinical team to implement and maintain care plans.
