Job summary

Accord Care Qld Pty is seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker to assist a participant living in Cheltenham, Victoria, at an SDA property, providing complex support for a wheelchair- and bed-bound individual with MS. Catheter care and two-person transfers are required, with focus on dignity and safety.

You will follow participant-specific plans, document accurately, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care and adherence to NDIS standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Disability Support Worker, preferably with MS or complex needs.
• Functions require assisting a wheelchair-bound, bed-bound participant and performing catheter care.
• Ability to safely perform two-person transfers and maintain dignity and safety.
• Familiarity with participant plans and MDT collaboration to meet NDIS standards.

Responsibilities
