Job summary

Optus Enterprise is seeking an experienced leader to own the Operational Intelligence strategy, developing scalable analytics, anomaly detection and service-impact modelling. You will drive governance, stakeholder engagement and a culture of data-driven decision-making across large telecom environments.

The role emphasizes bridging network events with customer outcomes and integrating AI, observability, and automation into a trusted decision layer.

Qualifications

• Extensive leadership in telecommunications and large-scale tech environments.
• Proven expertise in operational intelligence, analytics and service assurance.
• Strong knowledge of event correlation, anomaly detection and predictive operations.
• Ability to define strategy, roadmaps and performance standards.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the Operational Intelligence strategy, roadmap and maturity journey.
• Lead development of intelligence capabilities including correlation, anomaly detection and predictive analytics.
• Deliver service-aware intelligence linking network events to customer and business impacts.
• Integrate intelligence with observability, AI and automation platforms.
• Establish governance, quality standards and performance measures for accuracy and scalability.
• Drive adoption, stakeholder engagement and team capability development.
