Job summary

Optus is seeking a leader to own the Knowledge Intelligence strategy, roadmap and maturity across network operations. You will drive operational knowledge assets, including runbooks and service models, and build knowledge graphs that connect events, services and insights to support faster decision-making.

The role requires extensive leadership in telecoms, expertise in knowledge engineering, and the ability to govern knowledge lifecycles with AI-enabled operations and automation integrations.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership in telecommunications or large-scale tech environments.
• Experience in enterprise knowledge management and AI-enabled operations.
• Strong understanding of knowledge graphs, ontologies and knowledge lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive Knowledge Intelligence strategy, roadmap and maturity.
• Lead development of operational knowledge assets (runbooks, service models, incident knowledge).
• Build knowledge graphs and contextual services linking events, services and insights.
• Integrate Knowledge Intelligence with observability, AI and automation platforms.
• Establish governance and lifecycle management to ensure accuracy and security.
• Drive adoption, stakeholder engagement and capability development.
