Job summary

Optus Enterprise is seeking a senior AI Platform Engineer to lead the AI platform strategy, governance, and operations. You will drive scalable AI runtime platforms, model serving, and cost-aware operations across enterprise systems.

This leadership role emphasizes collaboration with Engineering, Operations, Security and Finance to translate strategy into measurable outcomes. You will influence across domains to advance autonomous network operations while shaping a resilient, cost-efficient AI

Qualifications

Experience deploying enterprise AI/ML platforms.
Experience with model serving environments.
Experience with high-scale runtime services.

Responsibilities

Own the AI platform strategy, roadmap and capability maturity plan to support operational AI, automation and autonomous network operations.
Lead the engineering and industrialisation of scalable, secure and resilient AI runtime platforms and reusable AI services.
Drive AI platform integration, model serving, inference performance and runtime optimisation across operational systems and data platforms.
Establish and govern AI FinOps, cost management, security, risk and operational assurance practices to ensure sustainable AI operations.
Measure and continuously improve platform performance, availability, adoption, capacity utilisation and operational value.
Lead cross-functional teams, stakeholder engagement and strategic technology partnerships while building a high-performing AI platform engineering capability.
