Job summary

City of Greater Geelong is seeking a Fixed Term Full Time Change & Training Lead to drive the people side of digital transformation within the ACE program. You will design, deliver and continually improve training across DIT, partnering with vendors, SMEs and business leaders to ensure adoption and sustained capability.

You will conduct readiness assessments, identify gaps, manage stakeholder expectations and support transitions to new ways of working across high-profile initiatives.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Learning & Development, Human Resources, Organisation Psychology, Commerce/Business, or significant professional experience.
• Experience conducting training needs analysis and designing and delivering training programs.
• Experience coordinating or coaching SMEs, super users or trainers.
• Ability to design role-based, scenario-led training reflecting real workflows.
• Desirable: Prosci Change Management certification; LMS or digital adoption platform experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design and deliver engaging training solutions that support digital transformation and system adoption.
• Identify training needs and continuously improve learning through feedback and performance insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver practical, role-based learning experiences.
• Build relationships with project teams, vendors, SMEs and super users to ensure high-quality training.
• Assess impacts and readiness for change, helping teams transition to new systems and ways of working.
• Identify risks, support engagement activities, and ensure change initiatives are well understood.
• Monitor and evaluate change outcomes, report insights, and support continuous improvement.
• Plan and prioritise training delivery across multiple initiatives with ACE and DIT project leaders.
