Job summary

The City of Greater Geelong seeks an experienced Change and Learning Specialist to drive the people side of digital transformation. You will develop, design and deliver training across the ACE program and broader DIT portfolio, shaping content with best-practice methods and partnering with SMEs, vendors and business leaders to ensure adoption and impact.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Learning & Development, HR, Organisation Psychology, Commerce/Business, or significant professional experience.
• Experience designing and delivering training programs using a range of methods.
• Experience coordinating or coaching subject matter experts to build capability.
• Ability to design role-based, scenario-led training content reflecting real workflows.
• Proven stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with LMS or DAP (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Develop, design and deliver training solutions to support digital transformation and system adoption.
• Identify training needs and continuously improve learning through feedback and performance insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver practical, role-based learning experiences.
• Build relationships with project teams, vendors, SMEs and super users to ensure high-quality training.
• Assess change readiness and support teams transitioning to new systems and ways of working.
• Identify risks and support engagement activities to ensure change initiatives are understood.
• Monitor and evaluate change outcomes and drive continuous improvement across initiatives.
• Plan and prioritise training delivery across multiple initiatives with ACE and DIT project leaders.
