Mackay Regional Council is seeking a permanent part-time Development Support Officer to provide high-quality administrative and customer service support to the Plumbing, Trade Waste and Backflow Team within Development Planning and Engineering.
This role is administrative in nature and supports a busy technical team that manages plumbing, trade waste and backflow-related lodgements, enquiries and correspondence. You will play an important role in managing shared inboxes, responding to customer and stakeholder queries, and ensuring incoming and outgoing correspondence is accurate, timely and well coordinated.
Working 31 hours per week, this permanent part-time opportunity is based in Mackay, with flexible hours to be discussed with the successful candidate.
We are looking for someone who is organised, solution-driven and confident working both autonomously and as part of a team. You will bring strong communication skills, initiative and the ability to follow through on tasks while maintaining a professional and collaborative approach.
