The Role

The role is fixed term fulltime maternity leave cover until 30 September 2026. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders and third-party vendors who support the Department’s systems. The Developer is accountable for delivering support, monitoring, data management, enhancements, and release services, while also ensuring the smooth operation of DTP’s critical Sitecore websites and in-house backend performance reporting tools.

In This Role You Will
  • Apply application maintenance and development knowledge and subject matter expertise to work with team members, Department colleagues and vendors to ensure the delivery of support and maintenance services.
  • Ensure supported applications meet the required operational service levels.
  • Record maintenance and support activities, outcomes and other artefacts in systems used for these purposes (ServiceNow, JIRA, Bitbucket).
  • Complete assigned activities within the schedule agreed with management.

Qualifications And Experience

Mandatory

  • Relevant tertiary or equivalent industry qualification in information management, computer science or a related field.

Desirable

  • UI Design Experience - 3+ years
  • Frontend development experience with Sitecore (GraphQL APIs, Sitecore CLI, Sitecore Cloud Portal), python (for custom plugins), node.js, React/Next.js, HTML, CSS, Javascript – 2+ years
  • User level Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow for the purposes of support – 1+ year
  • DevOPs experience with Azure DevOps & infrastructure, docker & headless architecture – 2+ years
  • DevOps experience of CI/CD workflows, branching, environments – 3+ years
