Job summary

Aecom2 is looking for an experienced design delivery leader to drive technical excellence across Western Australia and South Australia. You will oversee design execution, governance, and the adoption of best practices, ensuring quality, safety and client satisfaction on complex projects.

You will lead recruitment, develop talent, and foster an inclusive culture while guiding the team through lifecycle changes to design software platforms such as Autodesk, Bentley, Vault and ProjectWise.

Qualifications

• Engineering design and drafting knowledge
• Experience leading design teams in consulting engineering
• Familiarity with mining/industrial sectors

Responsibilities

• Manage the design execution functions within the Western Australian and South Australian regional businesses
• Identify techniques to improve quality and enhance operational excellence
• Implement continuous improvement and manage revision control, life-cycle replacement and assessment/management of changes to design software platforms
• Undertake recruitment, development, and succession planning for team
• Foster a supportive and inclusive work environment, empowering team members to take ownership of their responsibilities and encouraging their professional development
• Ensure delivery excellence across all projects, maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction
