Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer in Western Australia to lead design and deliver major infrastructure projects. You will provide technical direction, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to budgets and schedules, while ensuring quality designs and compliance with Main Roads WA standards.

The role offers hybrid work options and a pathway to influence large-scale transport and water projects across Australia.

Qualifications

• 15+ years’ experience in highway and major infrastructure design.
• Demonstrated experience working with Main Roads WA projects and standards.
• Proven track record leading multidisciplinary design teams in a consultancy environment.

Responsibilities

• Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for team.
• Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff’s specific area of expertise.
• Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by others.
• Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
• Prepares project proposal and tenders for Main Roads Panel projects and Major Projects.
• Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
• Prepares technical specification sections.
• Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.
• Carries out interdisciplinary coordination on projects.
