Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Architect at Associate Director level in Western Australia to lead design, client engagement and delivery across complex projects. You will drive design quality and coordinate multidisciplinary inputs in a hybrid work environment.

You will mentor and develop teams, uphold design standards, and contribute to growing AECOM’s architectural offerings across the region. AECOM supports flexible work arrangements and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Registered Architect (Western Australia) with 15+ years' experience.
• Strong architectural experience across complex projects and multidisciplinary design.
• Proven leadership and ability to mentor teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide project leadership and technical oversight across a range of architectural projects, guiding multidisciplinary teams through complex commissions and setting clear design direction.
• Drive excellence in project delivery, ensuring design quality, innovation, technical outcomes and client expectations are achieved.
• Work closely with clients, sector leads and project teams to develop strong relationships, identify opportunities and contribute to major project pursuits.
• Champion design and technical standards, delivering thoughtful, sustainable and innovative architectural solutions while coordinating multidisciplinary inputs.
• Mentor and develop architects and designers, sharing your technical knowledge and helping build capability across the wider team.
• Support business performance through effective resource allocation, budget and risk management, while contributing to the growth and development of AECOM’s architectural offering.
