Job summary

At AECOM Australia, we are seeking a Senior Civil Infrastructure Lead to shape utilities planning across major projects. You will manage design quality, budgets, programmes from concept to delivery, and mentor junior engineers in a hybrid work environment.

Your background includes 10+ years in civil/site infrastructure, proficiency in 12D and AutoCAD, and a Chartered Professional Engineer designation or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of post-graduate experience in civil and site infrastructure design.
• Proficiency in 12D and AutoCAD with understanding of utility standards.
• Strong client relationship and interpersonal skills at a senior level.
• Solid knowledge of Australian civil engineering and infrastructure standards.
• CPEng designation or equivalent is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination and management of utilities across major infrastructure projects.
• Manage investigations, impact assessments and authority approvals.
• Coordinate interfaces between project teams, authorities, surveyors and contractors.
• Provide strategic advice on risks, programme impacts and mitigation strategies.
• Drive multidisciplinary design coordination and digital engineering outcomes.
• Build and maintain client relationships and contribute to business development.
• For suitable candidates, take on Team Lead role shaping strategy and pipelines.
