Job summary

Spotlight invites an experienced retail leader to join our Australasia team. You will support the Store Manager in daily operations, drive sales, and build a high-performing team dedicated to exceptional customer service.

You’ll manage stock processes, lead merchandising standards, and plan campaigns to grow department KPIs, with a hands-on approach and a strong ownership mindset.

Qualifications

• Proven store leadership experience in a retail setting.
• Experience in visual merchandising and store presentation.
• Strong IT skills and ability to use retail software.
• First Aid certification or willingness to be trained at no cost to you.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in daily operations.
• Monitor stock levels and recovery in the department.
• Drive sales growth and meet KPI targets for the department.
• Build and lead a high-performing team delivering exceptional customer service.
• Lead by example across all areas of the store.
• Manage high volumes of stock and ensure accuracy.
• Execute department Visual Merchandising and uphold standards.
• Plan and launch catalogue campaigns.
• Lead stock integrity initiatives to increase department profit.

• Monitor daily stock recovery in your department
• Achieve sales growth and meet department KPI targets

The Ideal Candidate:

• Strong retail leadership experience preferred
• Visual merchandising experience
• Physically capable to work large volumes of stock and set the pace
• Having an owner's mindset for your department
• A passionate attitude that inspires your Team
• A resilient & innovative problem solver
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• IT competency
• First Aid certified or willing to be trained (fully funded)
