Job summary

Spotlight is a leading Australasia home decor and craft retailer seeking a driven retail leader to support daily operations and drive sales in a high-volume environment. You will manage stock flow, lead a team, and ensure outstanding customer service across a busy department.

With a focus on visual merchandising, campaign planning and KPI delivery, you’ll contribute to a culture that rewards initiative and teamwork. The role requires hands-on leadership and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Strong retail leadership experience preferred.
• Visual merchandising experience and high stock volumes.
• Proven ability to lead a team and deliver KPI targets.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• IT competency with standard store software familiarity.
• First Aid certified or willing to be trained (fully funded).

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Store Manager in managing daily operations.
• Monitor daily stock recovery in your department.
• Achieve sales growth and meet department KPI targets.
• Build your team to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Lead by example in all areas.
• High volume stock management.
• Executing department Visual Merchandising and standards.
• Launching and planning catalogue campaigns.
• Stock integrity initiatives to increase department profit.
