Job summary

Spotlight Ltd is seeking a Store Leader to support daily operations and drive sales growth across a high-volume department in Mackay. You will lead a team, manage stock flow, and ensure exceptional customer service while maintaining merchandising standards.

The role requires strong leadership, visual merchandising expertise, and the ability to work at a fast pace. A proactive, owner-like mindset and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong retail leadership experience preferred.
• Visual merchandising experience required.
• Physically capable to handle large volumes of stock and pace.
• Owner's mindset for your department and team-inspiration.
• Resilient and innovative problem solver.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• IT competency and familiarity with retail tech.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in daily operations.
• Monitor daily stock recovery in your department.
• Drive sales growth and meet KPI targets for the department.
• Build and lead a high-performing team delivering outstanding customer service.
• Lead by example across all areas of the store.
• Manage high-volume stock movements and replenishment.
• Execute department Visual Merchandising standards.
• Plan and launch catalogue campaigns.
• Implement stock integrity initiatives to boost department profit.
