Job summary

Spotlight Retail Group (SRG) is seeking a strong retail leader to support daily operations across a high-volume department. You will drive sales, manage stock, maintain merchandising standards, and develop a team focused on delivering exceptional customer service.

You will work closely with the Store Manager to monitor KPI targets, plan catalogue campaigns, and lead by example in a fast-paced environment across Spotlight, Anaconda and Harris Scarfe stores.

• Strong retail leadership experience
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Experience in visual merchandising
• Physically capable to handle large stock volumes
• Owner's mindset for your department
• Passionate attitude that inspires your team
• Resilient and innovative problem solver
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• IT competency; ability to use standard retail software
• First Aid certification or willingness to be trained (fully funded)

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in daily operations
• Monitor daily stock movement in your department
• Drive sales growth and meet KPI targets
• Build and mentor a high-performing team delivering exceptional customer service
• Lead by example in all areas of store performance
• Manage high volumes of stock movements
• Execute department Visual Merchandising standards
• Plan and launch catalogue campaigns
• Implement stock integrity initiatives to improve department profitability
