Blackheath Dental is seeking a reliable, people-focused Dental Receptionist/Assistant to join our team on a long-term basis, 3 to 4 days a week with potential to increase in future. We’re a busy practice with supportive management and a welcoming culture where you can grow.

The role rotates between reception and clinical assisting: greeting patients, answering calls, booking appointments, processing payments, and assisting with sterilisation.

Blackheath Dental is looking for a reliable, people-focused Dental Receptionist/Assistant to join our team on a long-term basis, 3 to 4 days a week with potential to increase days in future. We're a busy practice with supportive management, and we're looking for someone who wants to settle in, take real ownership of their role, and grow with us over the years — not just pass through.

About the role

The role rotates between reception and clinical assisting:

Greeting patients and making them feel welcome

Answering calls, booking appointments and managing the schedule

Processing payments

Sterilisation and infection control

Infection control and chairside work are skilled, responsible parts of the job, and we'll fully train you in them — this is a role with genuine clinical responsibility, not reception with a bit of assisting added on.

Hours

Practice hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with Saturday mornings by appointment. We'll confirm your set days with you — we value stability as much as you do.
