Seabreeze Dentistry & Denture Clinic in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Dental Practice Manager to lead day-to-day clinic operations with a focus on patient experience and staff empowerment.
You will work closely with the practice owner and clinical team to ensure efficient workflows, high standards of care and proactive performance improvement across general dentistry and denture services.
At Seabreeze Dentistry & Denture Clinic, we're looking for more than someone to manage the daily schedule. We're searching for a capable, passionate and driven Practice Manager who is ready to take ownership of clinic operations, support a growing team and play a meaningful role in the future of our practice.
Our clinic offers a unique combination of general dentistry, denture services and dental prosthetics, giving the successful candidate an opportunity to work across different areas of oral healthcare in a supportive, patient-focused environment.
If you're a natural leader who enjoys solving problems, improving systems and helping a dental practice operate at its best, we'd love to hear from you.
As our Dental Practice Manager, you will be the driving force behind the smooth and successful day-to-day operations of our clinic.
Working closely with the practice owner and clinical team, you'll help establish an organised, efficient and positive workplace where patients feel genuinely cared for and staff are supported to perform at their best.
This is a hands-on leadership position suited to someone who is confident making decisions, taking initiative and maintaining high standards.
Oversee daily operations across our general dental and denture services.
Lead, motivate and support reception, dental assistants and administrative staff.
Coordinate staff rosters, leave arrangements, workflows and daily schedules.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity and patient experience.
Maintain professional standards, accountability and a positive team culture.
Ensure every patient receives a welcoming, professional and personalised experience.
Oversee patient enquiries, appointment bookings, recalls and follow-ups.
Support treatment plan coordination, patient communication and appointment conversions.
Confidently manage patient concerns and resolve issues professionally.
Build lasting relationships with patients and our local community.
Monitor appointment utilisation, cancellations, recalls and practice performance.
Work with the practice owner to achieve realistic operational and financial targets.
Identify opportunities to grow both general dental and denture services.
Support marketing initiatives, patient retention and referral relationships.
Help implement systems that improve productivity without compromising patient care.
Oversee billing, payments, health fund claims and outstanding accounts.
Maintain accurate patient records and administrative procedures.
Ensure practice processes support infection prevention, privacy, workplace safety and applicable regulatory requirements.
Coordinate stock control, ordering, suppliers and equipment maintenance.
We're particularly interested in candidates who bring:
Previous experience managing a dental practice, ideally within Australian private dentistry.
Strong knowledge of dental practice operations, patient scheduling and treatment coordination.
Experience using dental practice management software, preferably Dental4Windows (D4W).
Proven ability to lead a team, delegate effectively and manage workplace challenges.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
Confidence understanding practice performance, KPIs and business improvement opportunities.
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a genuine sense of responsibility and ownership.
Experience in denture clinics, dental prosthetics or multidisciplinary dental practices would be highly regarded, although it is not essential.
We understand that a great Practice Manager can make an extraordinary difference to a clinic.
That's why we're looking to build a long-term working relationship with someone who wants to contribute ideas, develop professionally and be recognised for the value they bring.
What makes this opportunity special?
A genuine leadership role with the opportunity to influence clinic operations and future growth.
A diverse clinical environment, working across general dentistry and specialised denture services.
Direct collaboration with the practice owner, with opportunities to introduce new ideas and improvements.
A patient-focused team committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care.
Long-term career potential for someone looking to grow with an evolving business.
Competitive remuneration, negotiable based on experience and capabilities.
If you're an experienced dental professional who enjoys leading people, building efficient systems and delivering outstanding patient experiences, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.
We are especially interested in candidates who don't simply maintain a practice but have the initiative and leadership skills to help it thrive.
We look forward to meeting the person who will help shape the next chapter of our practice.
