Job summary

Beenleigh MarketPlace Dental, a two-clinic group in Brisbane, is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to lead both Beenleigh MarketPlace Dental ( Beenleigh ) and My Dental Care West End. You will balance operations between sites, drive patient flow and recall programs, and partner with the owner to grow the business while maintaining high standards of care.

The role requires setting direction, coaching teams, managing rosters, recruitment, and ensuring compliance across both locations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Practice Manager or in a leadership role in dental/healthcare.
• Ability to lead clinical and front-office teams across multiple sites.
• Strong focus on patient experience, recall, and growth strategies.

We're a locally owned group of two dental practices in Brisbane: My Dental Care @ West End and Beenleigh MarketPlace Dental. The two clinics have different paces and patient communities, but share the same commitment to quality care and a great patient experience. We're proud of the strong, capable team we've built, and we're now looking for an experienced leader to guide them and help both practices grow.

About the role

This is a new full-time role working directly with the practice owner. You'll be the single manager across both clinics, splitting your time between sites based on what each one needs. Our team is skilled and has the capacity to do more. They need someone to set direction, support their development, and keep everything running smoothly.

Beenleigh MarketPlace Dental (3 chairs): A busy, fast-paced practice where your focus will be on operational leadership: patient flow, appointment book efficiency, and supporting the team day to day. With cost-of-living pressures affecting our community, you'll also help us keep patients engaged and returning through strong recall, clear treatment communication and flexible, patient-friendly processes.

My Dental Care West End (2 chairs): A calmer, relationship-driven practice in a competitive area. Here your focus will be on growth: building the patient base, filling the appointment book, strengthening recalls and reactivation, and working with the owner on local marketing.

Key responsibilities

Lead, coach and motivate the clinical and front-office teams across both sites

Manage rosters, staff performance reviews, recruitment and onboarding

Oversee patient experience, appointment book efficiency and recall systems

Drive patient retention and growth strategies tailored to each clinic

Monitor practice KPIs, including production, bookings, cancellations, recalls and new patients, and report to the owner

Ensure compliance with infection control, WHS, AHPRA and privacy requirements

Manage supplier relationships, stock and practice operations

Build consistent systems and culture across both practices, while sharing what works between them

About you

Previous experience as a Practice Manager or in a leadership role, ideally in dental or healthcare

A people-first leader who builds trust, gives clear direction and holds standards

Equally comfortable running a busy operation and building growth in a quieter one

Strong organisational, problem-solving and communication skills

Experience with EXACT dental software is highly regarded

Commercially minded and comfortable working with numbers and targets

Able to travel between West End and Beenleigh (a current driver's licence and your own car are required)
