Floss Family Dental is seeking an experienced Front Office Coordinator for our Victoria Point practice. You will own the front desk, greet patients, manage bookings and coordinate with the clinical team to ensure a seamless patient experience.

We value reception experience and customer service excellence. The role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting, enjoys teamwork, and is confident working independently. Dental reception experience is highly regarded but not essential.

• Has proven reception experience – essential.
• Is confident working independently in a busy environment.
• Has excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Is highly organised, reliable and great at multitasking.
• Takes initiative and has excellent attention to detail.
• Can remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Brings a positive attitude and enjoys being part of a team.
• Has dental reception experience (highly regarded but not essential).
• Has current, valid working rights in Australia – essential.

Responsibilities

• Managing busy appointment books and patient bookings.
• Answering calls, emails and patient enquiries.
• Coordinating treatment appointments and patient follow-ups.
• Processing payments, health fund claims and patient accounts.
• Working closely with dentists, OHT and dental assistants.
• Keeping reception organised and running efficiently.
• Taking initiative to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the front office.
