Job summary

Mornington Peninsula Dental Clinic in Mornington is seeking a friendly, organised dental receptionist and patient care coordinator to welcome patients, manage bookings and support our front-of-house team.

You will handle calls, follow up with patients for check-ups or completed treatments, and assist with payments and records while collaborating closely with our dentists and dental assistants. Training and a supportive team are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer-facing roles is valued but not essential.
• Be friendly and confident on the phone, including making outbound calls.
• Well organised with good follow-through.
• Maintain calm and cheerful demeanor when the office is busy.
• Comfortable using computers and eager to learn new software.
• Care about people and enjoy making their day better.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and helping them feel at ease from the moment they walk in.
• Answering calls and booking appointments.
• Calling patients who are due for their check-up or have treatment to complete.
• Handling payments, health fund claims and patient records.
• Working closely with dentists and dental assistants to keep the day flowing.
