Job summary

Penfold Motor Group in Doncaster, Victoria, is seeking a Delivery Coordinator to bring the new vehicle journey together, ensuring every handover is smooth, timely and memorable for the customer.

You will coordinate deliveries end to end, liaise with the sales team, finance and workshop, prepare vehicles and documentation, and build lasting relationships with customers from pre-delivery to handover.

About the role:

As the Delivery Coordinator, you are the person who brings the new vehicle journey together, making sure every handover is smooth, timely, and memorable for the customer.

You will also:

• Coordinate new vehicle deliveries end to end, giving you full visibility of the sales process and a real sense of ownership over the customer experience
• Liaise with the sales team, finance, and the workshop to keep every vehicle on track for its delivery date
• Prepare vehicles and documentation ahead of handover, so every customer receives a professional and consistent experience
• Build relationships with customers during the pre-delivery phase, keeping them informed and excited about their new vehicle
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery workflows, contributing ideas that make the team more efficient

About You:

You are someone who thrives on detail and genuinely enjoys being the point of contact that people rely on to get things done.

More about you:

• Previous experience in a coordination, administration, or customer-facing role gives you a strong foundation to step into this position with confidence
• Your communication skills are clear and consistent, whether you are speaking with a customer or following up internally with a colleague
• Familiarity with the automotive retail environment, or a strong desire to learn it quickly, will help you add value from day one
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deliveries and priorities without letting the details slip
• A current Victorian driver licence is essential, as you will be involved in the movement and preparation of vehicles on site
