Lakes Hyundai in North Lakes, QLD, is seeking a Delivery Coordinator to join our team on a full-time basis. This role ensures a seamless customer experience from sale to vehicle delivery, coordinating logistics and administration of deliveries.

You will liaise between sales, service and customers to guarantee timely, high-quality handovers and maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the process.

Lakes Hyundai is seeking a dedicated Delivery Coordinator to join our team on a full-time basis at our North Lakes QLD dealership. This role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless customer experience from the point of sale through to vehicle delivery. As Delivery Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the logistics and administration of vehicle deliveries, liaising between sales, service, and customers to ensure all vehicles are delivered on time and in perfect condition. This position is essential to maintaining Lakes Hyundai's reputation for excellence in customer service and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinating the scheduling and logistics of vehicle deliveries to ensure timely and efficient handovers to customers
• Liaising with sales team members to obtain delivery requirements and customer preferences
• Communicating with customers to confirm delivery dates, times and any special instructions
• Preparing delivery documentation, including final inspection reports, warranty information and customer handover packs
• Conducting pre-delivery inspections to ensure vehicles meet quality standards before handover
• Managing delivery schedules and maintaining accurate records of all deliveries completed
• Processing delivery-related paperwork and ensuring all administrative requirements are fulfilled
• Resolving any delivery-related issues or concerns raised by customers or staff members
• Collaborating with service department staff to coordinate any outstanding vehicle preparations
• Maintaining organised filing systems and database records for all delivery transactions

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in a client-facing or administrative role, preferably within automotive sales or delivery environments
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deliveries simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with demonstrated proficiency in building rapport with customers
• Proficiency in computer systems and Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to quickly learn dealership management software
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to resolve issues calmly and professionally
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced automotive dealership environment
• A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
• Previous experience in the automotive industry or dealership environment is highly desirable
• Knowledge of vehicle specifications and features would be beneficial
