The Department of Human Services in Adelaide is seeking a part-time Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Specialist to lead the implementation of our DEI strategy. You will partner with Employee Led Networks, advise leaders and support engagement activities to foster an inclusive workplace.

Working within the Organisational Development and Learning team, you will monitor progress, develop resources, and help deliver programs that strengthen staff experience across a large, diverse department.

Formación

• Experience delivering diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
• Experience facilitating workshops, consultation and engagement activities.
• Strong written, analytical and communication skills.
• Sound knowledge of contemporary diversity, equity and inclusion practices and workforce trends.
• A practical, collaborative approach and commitment to inclusive workplaces.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and support implementation of DHS diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and action plans.
• Support and partner with Employee Led Networks to strengthen inclusion, engagement and employee voice.
• Monitor and report on progress against key diversity and inclusion commitments and action plans.
• Facilitate workshops, focus groups, consultation and engagement activities.
• Provide practical advice to leaders, managers and employees on inclusion-related matters.
• Contribute to workforce reporting, evaluation and continuous improvement activities.
• Develop resources, guidance and initiatives that support inclusive workplace practices.
• Build productive relationships across DHS and with external networks and partners.
