Job summary

A leading justice services provider in Victoria is seeking a Principal Strategic Advisor - Diversity, Equity and Inclusion to lead initiatives that promote equity and inclusion across the justice system. This role involves developing policies, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring a workplace that reflects values of accessibility and cultural safety. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, relevant qualifications, and extensive experience in diversity initiatives. Qualifications

• Extensive experience in DEI policy development and implementation, ideally within a complex or justice-related organisation.
• Deep knowledge of relevant legislation including the Gender Equality Act, Equal Opportunity Act, and Disability Discrimination Act.
• Strong project management skills and a track record of delivering impactful DEI initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and review of CSV’s Gender Equality Action Plan.
• Develop and embed DEI policies and frameworks.
• Design and deliver capability-building programs including unconscious bias training.
