Job summary

Defence Australia is seeking a dedicated ICT professional to support the Army Logistics Training Centre (ALTC) in managing data and records throughout their lifecycle. The role focuses on modernising processes, educating staff on records hygiene, and driving policy improvement across ALTC.

You will work with the ICT team at Gaza Ridge Barracks, Bandiana (Victoria), handling file access audits, digital conversions, disposal of physical records, and website content management, while building

Qualifications

• Strong background in Information and Records Management.
• Experience with Enterprise Records Management systems.
• Knowledge of storing, archiving and disposing corporate records.
• Experience with SharePoint/Drupal or website content management.

Responsibilities

• Manage data and records lifecycle for ALTC.
• Educate and promote records management hygiene and policy improvement.
• Perform file access auditing and permission management.
• Oversee digital conversion and destruction of physical files.
• Coordinate data transfers between systems.
• Support website content management and end-user training.
• Advise on policy adoption and process improvement across Defence.
• Contribute to ICT team operations and knowledge sharing.
