Job summary

Officeworks is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to optimise our national DC operations. You will apply engineering and analytics to improve productivity, capacity, throughput and safety across our distribution network.

Reporting into Supply Chain Ops, you will develop dashboards, analyse trends, and partner with operations and automation teams to drive measurable improvements and support DC modernisation initiatives nationwide.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Research, or related field.
• 7+ years in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain environments.
• Experience applying engineering & analytical methods to improve ops performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy and maintain operational performance dashboards to provide insights for leadership.
• Analyse performance trends and identify improvement opportunities using AI and analytical tools.
• Troubleshoot operational challenges and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Apply industrial engineering principles to labour management and throughput analysis.
• Develop engineering standards to measure productivity and performance.
• Validate actual performance against design parameters and productivity assumptions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, capacity and efficiency.
• Collaborate with operations to optimise workflows and system performance.
• Support DC modernisation, new facility design, and capital investment cases.
