We're launching our largest and most advanced Distribution Centre in Redbank, Queensland, and we're seeking an experienced Automation Infrastructure Lead to play a critical role in bringing this next-generation operation to life.
This is a rare opportunity to join a major greenfield project and become the on-site expert for robotics, automation, execution systems, and technology infrastructure. Working at the intersection of operations and technology, you'll help ensure our automated solutions deliver exceptional performance while driving continuous improvement across the site.
As the Automation Infrastructure Lead, you'll be responsible for the performance, optimisation, and ongoing development of the automation technologies that power our newest distribution centre.
You'll work closely with Operations, Technology, Transformation teams, and external vendors to ensure our automation infrastructure is operating safely, efficiently, and reliably while supporting the delivery of outstanding customer outcomes.
You'll also be the site's key Subject Matter Expert (SME) for robotics and automation, leading configuration, troubleshooting, training, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Act as the on-site automation and robotics SME, leading system implementation, optimisation, troubleshooting, and team capability development to ensure reliable and efficient operations.
Manage and optimise key automation and warehouse systems, including Robotics Control Systems (RCS), Warehouse Execution Systems (WES), and supporting Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ensuring infrastructure performance, reliability, and continuous improvement.
Support daily DC and X‑Dock operations by optimising automation performance, troubleshooting system issues, and partnering with Operations and Technology teams to drive efficient, reliable outcomes.
Drive automation and infrastructure improvements using Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies, developing scalable solutions and partnering with key stakeholders to enhance operational performance across the network.
Manage automation and technology vendors against SLAs and KPIs while overseeing the maintenance, lifecycle management, and performance of critical automation hardware, equipment, and supporting infrastructure.
You'll bring experience managing automation, robotics, warehouse systems, or industrial technology in a distribution centre, logistics, manufacturing, or supply chain environment.
