Job summary

Nine Entertainment Co. Pty Ltd is seeking a Data Engineer to own the full lifecycle of data products, enabling actionable insights and maximizing ad revenue.

You will design data models, build scalable ETL pipelines, and contribute to the data platform's technical vision, working with modern cloud tools. We value strong Python/SQL skills, data modeling experience, and familiarity with GCP/AWS/Azure, Terraform, and CI/CD tooling.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python and SQL.
• Experience with data modeling in enterprise environments.
• Proven track record delivering data pipelines and ETL.
• Experience with Airflow or similar workflow schedulers.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data models that align with business needs.
• Develop and maintain reliable data pipelines (ETL) to load and transform data from various sources into data warehouses.
• Ensure pipelines are scalable and efficient, considering data volume, velocity, and variety.
• Implement data quality checks and validation processes to maintain accuracy.
• Set up monitoring and alerting to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Perform root cause analysis for incidents and implement corrective actions.
