You will develop batch and event-driven pipelines, model data in BigQuery, implement CI/CD with Terraform, and help migrate legacy workflows while tuning SQL queries for performance and cost control.

Job description

We are seeking a proactive Data Engineer to build, scale, and optimize reliable data pipelines

across our Google Cloud Platform (GCP) analytics ecosystem.

In this role, you will work hands-on with tools like BigQuery, dbt, and lightweight orchestration to ingest, transform, and model data from key enterprise systems—including Salesforce, SAP, billing platforms, and MarTech/AdTech sources.

Core Responsibilities

• Pipeline Engineering: Develop, test, and maintain batch and event-driven data pipelines using Python, BigQuery, dbt, and Cloud Workflows.
• Data Modeling & Quality: Build modular transformation models in BigQuery using dbt, writing automated tests and documentation to ensure data quality and schema consistency.
• Infrastructure & CI/CD: Implement and update GCP infrastructure using Terraform, maintaining CI/CD deployment pipelines across development and production.
• Performance & Migration Support: Assist in migrating legacy data workflows to GCP, profiling and tuning BigQuery SQL queries to improve performance and control costs.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Standards: Partner directly with Product Managers and commercial MarTech/AdTech teams to translate audience, campaign, and attribution requirements into robust data models. Collaborate closely with software engineering peers to align on API data contracts, participate in peer code reviews, and champion code-first development practices.
