Job summary

Oracle is seeking an experienced Data Centre Technician to join our mission-critical infrastructure team in Australia. You will install, configure, test, troubleshoot, and maintain data centre hardware, manage assets, respond to incidents, and support upgrades and decommissioning in a fast-paced environment.

You will work closely with engineering teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure reliability, safety, and performance of our data centre and cloud services, while following SOPs, safety

Qualifications

• Experience in data centre environments and mission-critical infra.
• Hands-on hardware lifecycle knowledge: rack and stack, deployment, maintenance, upgrades, decommissioning.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with root-cause capability.
• Ability to follow SOPs, safety guidelines, and change control processes.
• Good communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, troubleshoot, maintain, upgrade, and decommission data centre hardware.
• Respond to incidents and perform preventative maintenance.
• Maintain asset and spare-parts inventory and document processes.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, vendors, and stakeholders to improve reliability.
• Participate in 24x7 shift roster and adhere to SOPs and safety standards.
