Job summary

Oracle Corporation Sydney is seeking an experienced Data Centre Technician to support, maintain and deploy data centre hardware. You will work across rack and stack, installation, testing, troubleshooting, and decommissioning in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.

As an Oracle Data Centre Technician, you'll play a key role in supporting, maintaining, and continuously improving our world-class data centre infrastructure. Acting as a technical liaison between engineering teams, vendors, stakeholders, and the data centre environment, you'll help ensure the reliability, availability, safety, and performance of critical infrastructure and cloud services.

You'll be responsible for installing, configuring, testing, troubleshooting, maintaining, upgrading, and decommissioning data centre hardware and supporting infrastructure. You'll respond to incidents, perform preventative maintenance, maintain accurate asset and spare-parts inventory, and follow established operational procedures and safety standards.

Success in this role requires strong hands-on technical capability combined with communication, stakeholder management, planning, accountability, resilience, adaptability, customer focus, and collaboration.
