Dell Technologies Inc. is seeking a Data Center Sales Executive to drive growth in Canberra, Australia.

You will identify new opportunities, expand existing accounts, and develop strategies that maximize revenue and forecast accuracy within the Datacenter Sales Team. You will lead sales campaigns, engage executive and technical stakeholders, and work with a cross-functional team to deliver customer-focused solutions across compute, storage and networking.

Qualificações

• 10+ years in field-based, relationship selling roles
• Experience in consultative solution selling within Tier-1 vendors or cloud organisations
• Proven ability to develop sales campaigns and pipeline
• Experience understanding client priorities and articulating business value
• AGSVA Clearance

Our Data Center Sales team develops new accounts and expands existing ones, using their expansive knowledge of our offerings to grow an established geographic territory or product line. They use their insight to identify and create new opportunities – and to build the business development strategies that underpin successful sales. As well as maximizing revenue, they take responsibility for accurate forecasts.

What you’ll achieve

As a Data Center Sales Executive, you will proactively identify and solve customer business needs by providing subject matter expertise and creating solutions using Dell’s products and services. You will develop strong relationships with key customer contacts at all levels of the business to gain an understanding of key business drivers that influence purchasing decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop & manage relationships with executive, business and technical decision makers within your define account territory
• Develop and lead sales campaigns from identification through to closure whilst working in conjunction with your extended team to grow Dell’s share of wallet across your customer territory

• Demonstrated experience in a field based, relationship selling role (10 years +)
• Demonstrated experience in consultative solution selling capacity preferably within a Tier-1 vendor or cloud organisation
• Proven ability to develop sales campaigns and pipeline development with a track record in acquiring new business
• Proven experience in understanding client priorities and articulating business value
• AGSVA Clearance

Highly Desirable Requirements

• Experience working with large enterprise accounts and constructing large complex deals
• Strong understanding and technical competency in data center technical architectures across compute, storage and networking domains.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft, VMWare and RedHat hybrid cloud architectures
• Strong presentation skills to medium to large audiences including public speaking experience
