Job summary

Turner & Townsend are leaders in professional services for the Data Centre sector globally. We are currently recruiting experienced Technical Project Managers to join our Data Centre team across Queensland.

As a Technical Project Manager you will lead complex projects, oversee design and contracts, manage client relationships and ensure budgets, schedules and quality standards are met in a high‑pressure environment.

Qualifications

Degree in a Construction Management or related field.
Professional/tertiary qualification in project management, engineering or construction.
A minimum of 5–10 years project management experience, preferably in a Data Centre or similar technical environment.
Thorough understanding of total project life cycle from inception to post-project review.
Excellent knowledge of main project management concepts, tools and techniques.

Responsibilities

Manage complex projects and programs as the key client interface.
Develop working relationships, problem solving and drive projects to successful completion.
Manage the design process to meet client requirements and manage expectations.
Review project plans, schedules, costs, and potential construction issues.
Manage project safety and environmental requirements and reporting.
Coordinate vendor scope with overall project delivery.
Draft contract documents in line with approved templates and ensure timely processing.
