Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Australia is seeking an experienced Senior Project/Construction Manager to lead a major data centre programme in Queensland. Based on site with FIFO/DIDO flexibility, you will sit within the client’s team and drive delivery to the required standards, timelines and quality.

You will chair rounds, manage interfaces, and report progress with weekly updates, risk reviews and recovery plans to protect the critical path and ensure the client remains informed and in control.

Qualifications

• 15 to 20 years total experience in project/construction management.
• 8+ years delivering data centre projects specifically.
• General contractor background strongly preferred or equivalent site experience.
• Full lifecycle knowledge from mobilisation to completion.
• Proven ability to manage GC, EC and MC interfaces and drive accountability.

Responsibilities

• Lead weekly and bi-weekly site visits and chair developer roundtables.
• Protect the critical path with rigorous tracking and early blockers identification.
• Provide bi-weekly site visit reports, roundtable minutes and action logs.
• Ensure client objectives are met with high standards of delivery and quality.
