Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking experienced Technical Project Managers to join our Data Centre team across NSW. You will manage complex projects and liaise with clients to deliver outcomes that meet their requirements.

Responsibilities include driving projects to successful completion, coordinating design, timelines and budgets, and ensuring safety and environmental compliance across programs.

Qualifications

• Degree in a Construction Management or related field.
• Professional/tertiary qualification in project management, engineering or construction.
• 5-10 years project management experience, preferably in Data Centre or similar technical environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex projects and programs as the key client interface.
• Develop working relationships, problem solving and driving projects to successful completion.
• Managing the design process to achieve the client's requirements and manage expectations.
• Reviewing project plans and specifications, scheduling, costs saving measures, discrepancies, potential construction problems, etc.
• Managing project safety and environmental requirements.
• Managing project timelines, risks and reporting.
• Managing project budgets and advising on options to keep budget on track.
• Being engaged with marketing and business development initiatives.
• Co-ordinating vendor scope with overall project delivery.
• Contract Execution: drafting contract documents in strict accordance with legal approved templates.
• Bring strong communication, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
