Job summary

CDC Data Centres in Australia is seeking Service Technicians to support live data centre operations and mission-critical infrastructure. Prior trades in Electrical, HVAC, or mechanical environments are valued, but training is provided to prepare you for monitoring power, cooling, fire, and site systems.

You'll work in a stable, growing industry with a tailored CDC Academy training program, a 24/7 shift pattern, and opportunities to develop documentation, reporting, and process improvement skills.

Qualifications

• Trade or technical background in Electrical, HVAC or Mechanical.
• Experience in critical/high-availability environments.
• Exposure to monitoring/control systems (BMS/EMS/SCADA).
• Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain logs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor alarms and respond to power, cooling, and fire system events.
• Conduct on-site inspections of equipment and infrastructure.
• Coordinate faults, escalation, and contractor support as needed.
• Execute operational switching and maintain safety compliance.
• Support planned maintenance and document incidents.
