Job summary

CDC Data Centres in Melbourne's West is seeking an Associate Service Technician to support data centre operations, maintenance, and customer service, ensuring uptime and quality in a fast-paced environment.

You will be part of a growing team with hands-on learning through the CDC Academy, and benefit from a structured 24/7 shift pattern (2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off) as part of our career pathway program.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical environments such as telecommunications, fibre, fire systems, trades, IT, industrial facilities, or related fields.
• Confidence collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders, including internal teams and external service providers.
• Ability to identify risks and develop practical, effective solutions.
• Strong proficiency in Office 365 applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and engage with Customers, Service Technicians and contractors undertaking support activities and overseeing maintenance works.
• Monitor critical infrastructure to ensure continuity of services and no disruption to client's or business operations.
• Utilise electronic monitoring systems to proactively oversee and monitor site conditions.
• Respond to customer requests and critical events swiftly.
• Ensure personnel are performing activities safely and in accordance with CDC's processes and procedures.
• Provide timely reporting of events, and support restoration to normal operations.
