Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Head of Engineering for its Data Centre business in Australia. The role leads the technical direction of MV/LV electrical systems, PTUs, switchgear, and Busway integration, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

You will build and mentor a multidisciplinary team, act as the technical authority on PC&A, review design documentation, and drive scalable design solutions for mission-critical infrastructure across Australia.

Qualifications

• Registered Engineer status (CPEng/NER or equivalent state registration).
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering team across MV, LV, PTU and Busway design disciplines.
• Act as technical authority for integrated power solutions including protection, control & automation.
• Review and approve engineering design documentation (SDLs, protection studies, relay setting reports).
• Develop productised, standardised, scalable design solutions for data centre applications.
• Engage with consulting engineers and design houses to influence specification of Siemens equipment and solutions.
